I'm almost 30 and have PCOS. My partner and I plan to have a baby as soon as I lose enough weight and my body can handle it. We know God is the maker of miracles but short of a bunch of those, I face oodles of fertility drugs and failed attempts. So thank YOU for your prayers for US when YOU are the one to soon deliver! May God bless you and your little family (as I know this is old since I started reading from the beginning!) --Aleshia-- Rach & Leshhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14396298073976075658noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31651336.post-67146187725298342512007-03-07T23:46:00.000-05:002007-03-07T23:46:00.000-05:00OMG! And with me TTC for over 3 years before finally getting pregnant that makes me feel even worse :-(
I guess I just always felt so alone during the process that I never thought that maybe other people could be going through what I was.
hmmm, I hope that doesn't say too much negative about me.
Good for you for acknowledging it.Kerry Lynnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07581127184150686924noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31651336.post-11821125353207231652007-03-07T00:07:00.000-05:002007-03-07T00:07:00.000-05:00I look at your baby belly and thank god or whateve...I look at your baby belly and thank god or whatever higher power there is that I was able to conquer my infertility issues with the help of a wonderful doctor and some good drugs. I also look at your belly and find myself thinking "I wish I could do that one more time." I love that you think of others who may be working toward what you have. Thanks for making me smile tonight.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31651336.post-11440423729190235392007-03-06T21:43:00.000-05:002007-03-06T21:43:00.000-05:00I just wanted to say that I think it's very sweet ...I just wanted to say that I think it's very sweet that you think of others who might be going through problems as they TTC, especially at a time where I'm sure it's very easy to be "me" focused. Last time I cleaned out an upstairs closet. Like I expected guests to be snooping through my stuff!

I love the story of your cats! Ours go around and sniff everything when we move the furniture, stopping only to give us a "what the heck are you thinking?" look every once in a while.

As for not gaining any weight - you might mention this to your dietitian. I had a similar problem at first and got two different responses when I asked. The first was that my weight gain had actually just slowed but baby was getting what she needed. When I talked to another dietician at a later date, she said that the first dietitian had probably suggested a diet based on what she usually gives her adult-onset diabetics (who usually are overweight). She suggested some higher-calorie, but still healthy, snacks. Things like regular cottage cheese (instead of low-fat), peanut butter on celery sticks, and nut, seed and berry trail mix.Lynannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02416883491055528952noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31651336.post-46260806058280618892007-03-06T16:40:00.000-05:002007-03-06T16:40:00.000-05:00I cleaned out our pantry and fridge before our big...I cleaned out our pantry and fridge before our big party in Feb. I didn't expect anyone to go into them, but I wanted them clean and orderly just in case.SassyFemmehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11825555906386002414noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31651336.post-49925543751786874712007-03-06T16:34:00.000-05:002007-03-06T16:34:00.000-05:00wow... your western theme party was really sad. My...wow... your western theme party was really sad.
My cats do that, too. It drives me insane. However AJ is a champion cat grabber. I swear she can grab a cat by its throat while she's in a dead sleep. I've seen her do it.
We once put a collar with a bell on one of our cats. Mass panic ensued for hours and she did not stop running until AJ managed to grab her (in a dead sleep) by the collar in the middle of the night and break the collar off. After that, she was calm.
Cats... they're so smart, but so stupid.Estellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12133147419963948340noreply@blogger.com
