You have a great combination of natural talent and a exceptionally cute subject :)

One trick I learned from a professional photographer is to set your camera for the portrait setting and put the baby a few feet in front of the background. You might need to sit her on the floor and drape the sheet over the lower half of the chair (and under her if you wish). This softens the background and brings more contrast to her features. Of course, you may already know this and its just hard to do with a baby who decides to get down and move around in the middle of your photo shoot. Its so much easier on the chair. :)Lynannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02416883491055528952noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31651336.post-55641159651647348992007-10-21T23:42:00.000-04:002007-10-21T23:42:00.000-04:00Elmo's not annoying, he's cute (and educational, o...Elmo's not annoying, he's cute (and educational, on Sesame Street!) His voice is done by a black man but Elmo is a male muppet. He's on Sesame Street and has his own segment (Elmo's world) and books and movies too. He's been on Rosie and the like. And I know this because... I love Elmo too...party bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13459613092080305589noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31651336.post-76351479096323292772007-10-18T17:23:00.000-04:002007-10-18T17:23:00.000-04:00There is another character too, a girl, named Zoe....There is another character too, a girl, named Zoe. I don't know if she is a sister, friend, cousin, or what to Elmo.

The only reason why I know this stuff is because of my preschoolers. They are always so shocked that I don't know about what is on TV so they make a point to tell me.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31651336.post-81606938282467630952007-10-18T17:19:00.000-04:002007-10-18T17:19:00.000-04:00Elmo is a great Sesame Street character, although ...Elmo is a great Sesame Street character, although I'll second the PP that his voice is grating to grown-ups. That said, most little ones I know absolutely adore him.

Kylie looks adorable in red! I think the contrast of the black may be making her hair look a little redder too.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31651336.post-90543523582342317232007-10-18T16:45:00.000-04:002007-10-18T16:45:00.000-04:00hey, that's our high-tech background trick too! gr...hey, that's our high-tech background trick too! great pics as usual - that girl's a cutie!Jenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06050465488024164128noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31651336.post-42828431989213333132007-10-18T15:48:00.000-04:002007-10-18T15:48:00.000-04:00Oh her hair totally looks red!
