Goodbye Bucket, Hello Booster

Today we replaced our sweet, bucket car seat for a Britax booster. Karen went to the Beaverton Police Department to have it installed. Oregon has regular workshops where experts will check the installation of your carseat or install it for you. And thank goodness she went to them. It took two people over an hour to properly install the seat!

I'll miss the convenience of carrying Kylie around in her bucket car seat. But she's really too big for it now and it's getting far too heavy. We'll get a picture of her in her new seat in the next few days and post it for you.

Kylie and I caught a slight head cold earlier this week. We probably caught it from one of the children at Gymboree (the little germ critters!). We're both feeling better but we were sorry to miss our friend Mateo's one-year birthday party. Karen attended and had a great time. I really wanted us to go as a family but I didn't want to spread the cold to anyone.

Here's a picture of Kylie from earlier this week (before she had her charming running nose). I just love her sweet, little stomach pudge in both of these photos.

I LOVE your blog. Fabulous! I started on your very first post and am slowly reading every single one. Seriously, I can't believe she's already 6 months old!

Loving it and just had to stop and tell you!

And of course the photos are adorable! She's really growing up!
