Just for grins and giggles, I checked to see how many pictures we've taken this year. Are you ready?
We took 7604 digital pictures this year.
And 6461 of them were of Kylie. (and she's just eight months old).
Holy Moly Batman!
I am getting better at weeding through and deleting photos on the sd card before downloading them to my trusty iPhoto.
But my goodness that seems like a lot of photos. Thank heavens for digital cameras!

Don't worry Karen, if Chris had gotten one he would want it a scrapbook page too. In fact he would have made me make a whole page for it alone! HAHA
It's a great page. I don't remember Kylie being that tiny!
OK, Even *I* only have 2300 photos and I have TWO babies and they're a whole month older than Kylie! 6400 is impressive!
I don't think the problem will be two many photos, it will be finding the cutest ones! (since you have SO many good ones). Better invest in a bigger harddrive. :)
I noticed that I have taken fewer photos of my daughter after she turned 2. She doesn't have as many "firsts" and doesn't change as quickly.
Wow! That's a LOT of photos! I love the idea of a "year in review" page. Did you come up with that yourself?
Actually I saw a year-in-review scrapbook page in "Scrapbooks etc." magazine. It gave me the idea. And I liked the challenge of selecting only 25-30 photos to represent the year.
I hear ya. We've taken so many pictures since Riley was born. :P
Wow, since we have 2900 pictures just in Flickr alone, I can only imagine how many are in IPhoto.

Love the year in review page! i'm going to steal that wonderful idea! We are crazy picture takers too, you made me want to go and see how many pics we took! Your little girl is beyond precious. What a wonderful year 2007 was, right?

Once again, thank you for blogging. Your blog got me through the slight trepidation of pregnancy and I'm now getting excited about baby rather that extreme nervousness.
My wife has been around a LOT more babies and kids in general, so that part isn't worrying her. Being my sherpa is a bit, but hearing Karen's posts has helped a lot.
