Family at Christmas

My Dad and his girlfriend, Margarita arrived on Monday after braving the snowy roads. On Monday night, we opened our presents for one another and on Tuesday Kylie opened a few presents from her Grandpa. I love early presents. It gives Kylie a chance to really appreciate a few at a time.

She's really gotten the hand of ripping off the paper.

We had some high jinks including Margarita putting a stocking on her head. Dad made the funniest face (embarrassment + trying not to laugh) which made this picture even funnier.

Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas everyone!

Merry Christmas to you all, too!

We are feeling sad that we've yet to reconnect since our visit to the park... Maybe sometime before the baby comes, but most certainly after! I will be home for 12 weeks (into May, if he comes when he's supposed to!) with many days free to take him out for walks and visits!

Have a terrific holiday!

It looks like everyone is having a wonderful time. I agree that early presents are great for the little ones...that way they don't get so overwhelmed all at one time. I hope that your holidays continue to be wondrous and bright. The two of us are thinking of the three of you with Christmas smiles on our faces.

Hello. I just wanted to say that I stumbled across your blog and have absolutely loved it. Your little girl is just the cutest thing. It is nice to know that there are other families out there jus like ours. My wife and I just had our first beautiful baby 3 months ago. I cant believe how fast they grow. I changed my last name to hers and our daughter has the same last name as well. We live in Florida so unfortunately she cannot adopt her which stinks. But we are a family and she is her momma no matter what. Again its nice to know there are other couples who are raising their babies just like we are.

I did have a questions for you if you dont mind. I am a scrapbooker as well and I see you do your digitally. How did you get started with digital? What program do you use? And how do you print your 12x12 pages? I have a whole room with nothing but scrapbooking gear and would love to go digital if I can print them all out.

Thanks and keep up the awesome blog.

Hi Spendsitwell!

Sorry for the delay in my reply.

I think the best way to get started with digital scrapbooking is to take JessicaSprauge.com self-paced class "Up and Running with Photoshop". It's how I learned and give it my highest recommendation. The class is video tutorials that you can play, rewind, play again at any time. You get all the digital supplies you need (papers, elements) to get started. And you can take the class for either Photoshop or Photoshop Elements.

Send me an email at karenandwendy@gmail.com and I'll answer any questions you have and share some of my favorite digital stores and such.

Thanks so much for reading the blog and your comments!
