The best two-fer ever!

I'm so happy I can barely stand it. My adoption of Kylie is final and I'm "officially" her momma. The final paperwork showed up in the mail yesterday and I cried when I opened it. I've never had any doubts that I was Kylie's momma, but knowing that everything is legally official now just seals the deal. Sweet...very sweet.

And, I'm also the proud owner of a new iPhone. Now, my phone is also capable of surfing the internet, holding tons of great photos (of Kylie of course!), playing my favorite music and a bunch of other fun stuff. This thing is wicked cool. Wendy has been very sweet about letting me play with it and get it all loaded up these past couple of days....thanks hon!

So, I'm a very, very happy camper. Woo hoo!

We are so happy that it's finally official...of course for us, it's been official since the moment the two of you even "conceived" the thought of Kylie. :)

All of our Love,
The Eberlin's

P.S. You and your IPhone are the envy of the neighborhood.

Congrats!!!!! I'm so thrilled for you but so sad that the laws in this country makes it so difficult. I agree with Ethan's momma - you were there the moment Kylie was conceived - it should have been official then. Hopefully the laws in your state aren't as difficult as they are here. My close friends needed 4 lawyers (one for each mom, one for the child and one for the "father"/known donor). I had to fill out a 5 page form as a personal reference for my friend and it was just plan stupid. I heard her home visit and interview was even worse and we live in one of the most liberal cities in the state. Ugh. Anyhow, I'm so happy for you that the formality is over! :)

Congratulations!! I know we shouldn't have to do it in the first place, but don't you just love Oregon for the quick turn around!?

What a great time to be stumbling across your blog!

Congratulations! I mean, of course you were always her mama, but now it's official and undeniable. I'm so very happy for you :)

Congratulations!! Even though you shouldn't have to adopt your daughter, the legal protections are wonderful to have. We were both very relieved when ours went through.

Also, congrats on your new iphone :) I'm just a little bit jealous...
