H is for hats, hide and seek and has a cold

For the past two days, Kylie's been sick with a cold. All she wants to do is sit at my desk and watch tv shows on my computer.

If you look at the picture you'll notice she has two sippy cups of beverages, tissues and banana puffs in her snack cup. You can see where she's drawn with a pen and a highlighter on a piece of copy paper. She's also put little post-it notes and tape flags everywhere on my desk.

She perked up a bit this morning and we got to do some activities from our Letter of the Week book.


Today was the letter H. Kylie colored a picture of a hat. And then we played hide and seek with all of these papers that were supposed to decorate the hat.

Kylie decided to decorate herself instead.



Then Kylie wanted to wear her favorite hat - a colander from the kitchen- while we marched around singing "The ants go marching" song. I'll spare you the pictures but I had a colander hat too.


She's such a goofball. Then we played peek-a-boo with her dolls. I don't see a sick tired baby, do you?

I was hoping that this morning's activities meant that she was on the mend. But she's back to being pretty sick this afternoon. And now I have the sniffles too-- yuck.
