Short sleeves and lots of energy
Yee-haw! It was warm enough today for Kylie and I to wear short sleeves and sunscreen. We celebrated by playing at our neighborhood park (with some friendly farm animals) for most of the afternoon.
Today was one of those Mondays where I had lots of energy. I did some menu planning. I cooked two new recipes (one for lunch and one for dinner). Kylie and I played, and played, and played. Got a few loads of laundry done. The house is pretty much picked up. And I re-organized Kylie's toy bins. The toy rotation is going great. Kylie seems to really appreciate the few but different toys she sees each day.
Here are a few pictures from my 365 picture-a-day project that you haven't seen. I love this one. I spent about 20 minutes processing it but it was worth it. (Processing notes here)
This one was taken the same day. I really wish I had caught a different angle when she did this. I think it looks best in black and white. I call it Surrender. But maybe I should call it Trust. Or Joy. This picture just draws me in.
And I have a bunch of scrapbook pages to share with you.

I absolutely LOVE the black and white picture!!! Surrender might just be the best caption for this! I just noticed your Kylie age ticker and can't believe she is almost 2 already. It doesn't seem like I have been folowing these blogs that long, but I so do remember ready early early on in this blog!!! WOW, how time is flying! Thank you for sharing!
Great pages- I am not a digital scrapbooker- but you make it look so easy!
The animals and ponies and things that Kylie always lines up makes me laugh.
Enjoy the warmer weather.
These pages are GREAT! I especially love the peanut butter cracker one :)
I think I may try the toy rotation... though I'm not sure how it would work now that we are doing the playroom and all the toys are stored at her level. Maybe rotate in the closet or something.
By the way, I saw these and thought of you...

Beautiful pictures and scrapbook pages. I just love "Surrender"...it wonderfully captures the moment. Again, I will say that you are such an artist.
Btw, the "girl" in the picture that Kylie colored is "Darby" from The Disney Channel's, "My Friends Tigger and Pooh."
Love surrender. It's what I feel like when I swing :)
