After 13 days of travel, (Tennessee and then Florida and back to TN) we're home.
I have so many thoughts that I want to capture. There was Kylie's birthday party with my folks, her week-long stay with her Nanna, our vacation and such. I'm seeing lots of changes in Kylie that I want to share with you too.
But for now, I just want to say that it feels wonderful to be back in our wet and green Portland Oregon home. We're unpacking, adjusting to the time-change and picking up our old routines.
Routines like picking up my Nikon camera while Kylie plays. I missed you dearest Nikon!
Routines like ....
playing with play-doh at the kitchen table. (Kylie grabbed fistfulls of play-doh and squished them on the monkey's head and announced it was a hat--first time she's done that.)
wearing raincoats to the park and picking up sticks.
tossing rocks and sticks into rain puddles.
and patting and kissing trees.
Oh, it is great to be home!
