Four New Words-Baby, Hey, Up and Yea
The journaling:
Baby
Your “official” second word.
You say it a lot through the day—mostly to your reflection in your nursery play mirror.
Hey Baby!
I say this to you when I open your bedroom door when you awaken from your naps. Now you’ve started saying it back to me. And you love how it sounds so much that you repeated it almost constantly for one full day.
Up
Momma Karen encouraged you to learn this word. Every time she would lift you, she would say “Up!” Now you say it as a request. And the cute part is that you say it with a lot of breath so it sounds like a loud whisper.
Yea!
It’s no surprise that this is one of your first words. We use it all the time around you to congratulate you on your accomplishments.

yay! congrats on the new words! it's so much fun when they start speaking.
She's turning into quite the little talker! Pretty soon, she and M can have whole conversations :)
Oh a little chatterbox! SO cute that she asks for "up" from Momma Karen now. One little question...do you each go by Momma and use your names?
I love that she repeated "hey baby" all day after figuring it out. And Wow she is looking so much like a little kid now. Just too cute.
Oh and **amazing** job on the pig. Seriously that is phenomenal.
Hi Francesca,
Thanks for your comment!
Around the house and such, I'm "Mommy" and Karen is "Momma". Right now Kylie can only say Momma but she means either of us when she says it. We'll see if she catches the distinction later on.
Although Karen has done some digital scrapbooking, I'm the major scrapbooker. So on the scrapbook pages I create I usually use "I" or "Mommy Wendy" to refer to me and "Momma Karen" for Karen. Just for a bit of scrapbook clarity.
BTW, I haven't forgotten your request for more info about us!
Oh no worries, no pressure at all :-) Thanks for the info. She says Momma when she wants some love!
