Our local Learning Palace store had a free Seuss celebration this past Saturday.
Kylie sat perfectly still during the storytime reading. And then it was time to color some green eggs and ham with these very cool paint dabbers.
And then have her first face painting--a cat in honor of Cat in the Hat.
Of course Kylie, who looked as cute as could be, refused to smile. She took all the proceedings very seriously.
We made some blank page coloring books with foam covers. Kylie decorated her cover with foam space stickers. The space stickers were to signify "Oh, the places you'll go". Kylie decided she wanted to go to space!
It was a wonderful celebration! We rounded out the afternoon by visiting a local park that has awesome slides. Of course, my girl loved the steepest, fastest slides the best.
