When we shoot we should savor what goes on in front of us, allow things to develop, anticipate things, not be in such a hurry to move on to see how much more we can see quickly and superficially. It’s all there, if we take our time and look, things have a way of happening in front of you. Standing still is also a good way of covering things; just let the world come to you. To paraphrase an old cliché – Don’t do something, just stand there. Be patient.
Here's an image I shot this week just sitting in the floor playing with Kylie. The radial blur was added in Photoshop (I've always wanted to try out radial blur!).
Have a great weekend!

Great quote and great picture! I like the "radial blur"...it really makes the pinwheel feel like it's moving.

precial. beautiful little girl.
sorry, meant to say precious. ahhhh
I can't even remember how I stumbled across your blog- but over the course of the last few days, I've read the entire thing! What an adorable little girl and a sweet family you have. I find it hard to believe that anyone could look at these pictures and thoughts and not be able to see that your child has what all children should be so lucky to have- a warm, loving home, with 2 parents who want nothing but the best for her and each other.
