Popsicles and bug bites

One good way to cool off on a hot day is popsicles.

I'm learning to live with humidity again. Walking out the door is like walking into a sauna.

And bug bites! Yeesh! I went to work in the yard last night and got 30 mosquito bites in 30 minutes. Lovely.

I was wondering how the adjustment was going with the humidity. And yes, I think a popsicle is the best way to help with the heat.

Been out of blogland for a while, however I have been trying to keep up with the reading. I am trying to get back into the loop. I was surprised to see you have moved! Virginia sounds wonderful though. Humidity is no fun! Sorry about the bites. We have trouble with them here too. Fabric softner sheets!! That helps. Put on in the collar of your shirt or in the waist band of your pants. It helps keep the Misquitos away! Can't believe how much Kylie has grown! Absolutely beautiful!!!

There was an interesting article in the Washington Post today about mosquitoes in this area. If you don't subscribe, here's a link to the first page: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/story/2009/08/12/ST2009081201665.html?hpid=features1&hpv=national
I usually lurk, but enjoy reading about your family and seeing the darling pictures.
