A few more pictues

Here are a few smiley Kylie pictures. Yes...I did cut her head off...again. I know some of our family doesn't understand why I cut her head off in pictures so much. What can I say? I like to get close to her. And I like the artistic/cut-off look.

I like to take Kylie's picture with a consistent background. A solid, consistent background on her pictures is helpful when I'm ready to scrapbook them. Lately, I changed her white sheet to a black sheet (did you notice?). Yep, this is my upscale photo taking area-- Karen's chair draped with a black sheet.

Here is a distant, un-cropped photo--- less we forget how little Kylie is.

Little bitty baby in a great big chair.

I almost didn't buy this outfit because I don't know much about Elmo. I know about Winnie-the-Pooh but not a thing about Elmo. Does he have a tv show? (He's a he, right?). Is he cute or annoying? Anyway, I wanted to see Kylie in something besides pink and purple. But I think all this red makes her hair look red as well.

Have a great day everyone!

Elmo is on Sesame Street. He does have his very own 15 minute segment in the show but he is also a regular character in the show. Kid slove him. His voice drives me nutty.

Oh her hair totally looks red! It's like Madison's!
And of course I noticed you changed your high tech background to black :-)

Elmo is a great Sesame Street character, although I'll second the PP that his voice is grating to grown-ups. That said, most little ones I know absolutely adore him.

Kylie looks adorable in red! I think the contrast of the black may be making her hair look a little redder too.

There is another character too, a girl, named Zoe. I don't know if she is a sister, friend, cousin, or what to Elmo.

The only reason why I know this stuff is because of my preschoolers. They are always so shocked that I don't know about what is on TV so they make a point to tell me.

Hannah loves MELMO... he's 3 and sounds like a 3 yr old. His voice is done by a black man but Elmo is a male muppet. He's on Sesame Street and has his own segment (Elmo's world) and books and movies too. He's been on Rosie and the like. And I know this because... I love Elmo too...

Kylie would have to be the most photographed baby around :)

And surely you know Sesame Street!

Elmo's not annoying, he's cute (and educational, on Sesame Street!) You know .. like Tickle Me Elmo.

I love your photos. You have a great combination of natural talent and a exceptionally cute subject :)

One trick I learned from a professional photographer is to set your camera for the portrait setting and put the baby a few feet in front of the background. You might need to sit her on the floor and drape the sheet over the lower half of the chair (and under her if you wish). This softens the background and brings more contrast to her features. Of course, you may already know this and its just hard to do with a baby who decides to get down and move around in the middle of your photo shoot. Its so much easier on the chair. :)
