I admire your digital scrapbooking. I've read your long blog about where you get most of your materials, etc. Question please: Do you find yourself constantly needing to purchase new "materials" or are you able to use pieces of this and that now that you have been creating pages for so long? Also, are you able to adjust the hues of a the "paper" to turn it a different color? Thank you! If you'd like to email me direct, I can be reached at melissa@myfrn.com.

Your work is truly fantastic.

You're so lucky. Chris would never ever pose for a cute picture like that. I really need to find me a wife.

Hi Melissa,

Thanks for your comment. I DO reuse lots of my digital papers and elements. I tend to still buy a lot of layered templates from designers I admire. Using a layered template helps get me off the blank page and get to the "fun" part faster.

I do recolor some digital supplies--more embellishments like ribbons or buttons than papers. But I do have one dotted paper that I've recolored several times.

I still will see a digital kit about every other month and have that "have to have it" moment. Mostly, I just add embellishments to my collection now.

Hope this answers your question. Let me know if you have any more questions. I love to spread the digital scrapbooking bug!!
